Don’t give up today. Don’t give up tomorrow. Just don’t give up.

Every PALS (Person with ALS) faces darkness on this journey. Welcome to the strongest group of people on this planet.

We all have to learn how to adjust. We also need to adapt to our world. None of us asked for this complex nightmare!

Even if we pass away tomorrow, let it be known that ALS did not beat you. Let others know that ALS could not break your spirit.

Don’t let yourself fall into bitterness. Instead, try to leave positive memories of yourself for when you’re no longer around. What is the legacy you want to leave behind?

Some days will be tougher than others. When you find yourself backed into a corner, just say: Not today, ALS. Not today. I refuse to let you get the best of me. Nope, not today!

Hope is the most powerful tool we all carry. Don’t give up—not today, not ever. There are over 60 people documented who have beaten ALS. I hold onto the hope that one day, I’ll wake up and add my name to that list.

Welcome to an elite group of ALS warriors. I would go to war with all of you (PALS) and never worry about my six.
